When a guest makes a reservation through a sales channel, some websites require host approval before confirming it. This is called a non-instant reservation, where the host can either accept or decline the guest's request before finalizing the process.

Airbnb

  • You can enable the non-instant reservation option, which requires the guest to contact you before confirming the reservation.

Booking

  • With Reservation Request, the guest submits a request, and you have 24 hours to accept or decline it. If you don’t respond within this time, the reservation is automatically canceled, giving more control to the host.

Vrbo

  • The host has 24 hours to accept or decline the guest's request. During this time, the reservation is on hold in the calendar. If the host doesn't respond within this period, the reservation is automatically canceled.

TemporadaLivre

  • This channel only allows non-instant reservations. The guest can view the listing information and contact the host directly to finalize the reservation.

CasaTemporada

  • Also works exclusively with non-instant reservations. The host negotiates directly with the guest on prices, cancellation policies, and payment methods.
To deactivate the instant reservation option, go to the menu [Listings > Distribution > Reservation settings] and select your preferred option. Learn how to set this up.
