When integrating your listing with Vrbo, you can choose between two options to charge your guests. In the standard model, the platform directly charges the service fee to guests during the reservation process, and you will only need to charge your part of the reservation.

Credit card payment

When guests provide credit card details on the Vrbo platform, you should process typed sales on your Stays reservation page.

To ensure acceptance of payments in different currencies, it's recommended to use Stripe.

Invoice payment

In this model, Vrbo does not send guests' card details but displays the charging information you set for them. Thus, you can set up invoice payment in [Channel Managers Dashboard > Vrbo > Reservation > Accepted payment methods], then go to [Invoice > + Add instruction]. To make the charging easy, we recommend generating payment links using platforms like PayPal or PayU.

Remember that in both models, it is possible to initiate the cancellation of the reservation directly through Stays, as long as it is within Vrbo's policies.
