Being active in the Stays Alliance is opening the door to opportunities for partnerships with Stays users around the world. How about doing a profile of your business and being on the radar of other partners who seek to connect with other people in the business?
If you have questions about Stays Alliance, take a look at the material below:
Creating a Stays Alliance affiliate profile
To create your profile, simply go to the [Stays Alliance> Affiliates> Profile of my business].
When you get to the screen, you should fill in some information blanks. Here are more details and tips:
It is the area that you will expose your basic business information such as your fancy name, website address and contact channels. In addition, if you are interested in having a public profile to other partners, in the description field you should add details:
- How many accommodations do you have?
- What kind of accommodation?
- Where are these accommodations located?
- What is your field of activity? (Pousada, vacation rentals?)
This information will help other Stays Alliance members to be interested in partnering with you (if your profile is public).
Below you can define more details about your profile:
- Are you willing to take accommodations from the Stays Alliance if there is interest? (= incoming channels)
- Are you willing to share your accommodations for Stays Alliance members to list? (= outgoing)
- Do you want to make your profile public on the affiliate list? (can members see your general registration information?)
It is important to note that by checking Yes in the above fields does not mean that anyone can take your products, just as you can not take accommodation without the consent of the partner. This information is just for setting up your Stays Alliance channel and assisting in the process of setting up partnerships.
How do I view the profile of other Stays Alliance affiliates?
Go to the [Stays Alliance> Affiliates> Stays Alliance Affiliates] menu.
In the central part of the screen will be the names of the affiliates and clicking on the little set you get more information about the partner.
What do the "Incoming channels" and "Outgoing" labels stand next to the affiliate's name?
Partners labeled "Incoming channels" indicate that they are likely to take partner accommodations to increase the portfolio.
Partners labeled "Outcoming channels" indicate that they are likely to provide accommodation to other partners in order to increase sales channels.
Partners with both labels are receptive to both scenarios.
Is it possible for a partner to take my accommodations without consulting me or the opposite?
No. In order to improve the partnership via Stays Alliance it is necessary that both you and your partner make configurations about your partnership in the system. The process of contacting and negotiating terms is the sole responsibility of Stays users.
