The derived prices setting allows that, from a base amount, the price increases for each additional guest on reservations, always respecting the maximum capacity of this listing.
⚠️Important: the system only accepts fixed amounts per additional guest. Percentage-based values are not compatible with many sales channels and in those cases, you'll need to enter an alternative fixed amount so the value can be correctly sent to the channels.
How to set derived prices?
- In the desired listing, go to [Finance > General pricing settings] tab.
- Click on [Yes] on the [Do your prices vary according to the number of guests on the reservation?] part.
- Set the amount charged for each additional guest.
Attention: each derived price is a total amount or a fixed add-on, not a percentage based on the reservation amount.

If you work with this amount variation based on the number of guests on Airbnb, this information will already be imported into the listings during your implementation process. Learn more.
What happens when the reservation exceeds the maximum number of guests that the listings accept?
Nothing, as there will be no reservation. It is common the maximum capacity of the listing to vary due to the extra beds option, such as mattresses, sofa beds and others. In this case, you must register your mattress with the Mattress/Futon option so that your listings have the actual maximum capacity.

Sales channels integration
If you use price variations based on the number of guests on channels such as Airbnb, Booking, Despegar, Expedia or Vrbo, this information will be automatically imported or sent. The update is usually processed within up to 5 minutes after the change.
