For vacation rental administrators, the system has a feature to show available accommodations for Long Term Rental on the website, making it possible to catch the eye of guests. The process is given through a form on the website, where persons of interest enter their info, and the content reaches your enterprise by e-mail.
To setup a Long Term Rental listing, follow these steps:
- Go to <<Listings > Listings>>;
- Click the green "+" button;
- On the next screen, select the <<Long Term Rental>> option and fill in the required information;
- Click "Next".
The listing's status will be set as "Draft" and you'll need to finish the setup in other sections, very similar to vacation listings, but as a difference we have the tab Real Estate and Long term Rental. See further details below:
Inputting Long Term Rental general info:
In the "Product" tab of your listing's panel, there will be a section named "Real Estate" where you should input some relevant info about the website's listing. This section is managed along with Real Estate listings.
Condition: For the Long Term Rental module, it serves only as an internal control for the listing. If it's also a Real Estate listing, it can serve as a filter to the potential buyer.
Year of construction: informs the website visitor about the year of construction of the Building or accommodation. This information integrates the website's listing layout and serves to the "Long Term Rental" module, in case you have it active in your system.
How many floors: informs the website visitor the number of floors in the Building or accommodation. This information integrates the website's listing layout and serves to the "Long Term Rental" module, in case you have it active in your system.
Listing per floor: Gives the buyer an overview of the Building's size, and also a notion of the condominium fee, for example. This information integrates the website's listing layout and serves to the "Long Term Rental" module, in case you have it active in your system.
Count of Elevators: informs the website visitor the number of elevators the Building has (or house, in the case of some mansions, for example). This information integrates the website's listing layout and serves to the Real Estate module, in case you have it active in your system.
Don't forget to save your changes at the end of the process. The "Save" button is located on the upper right corner of the screen.
Setting up fees and prices for Long Term Rental listings:
To set the listing's Long Term Rental price, go to the <<Long Term Rental>> tab inside the Product. There you'll find a set of fields where you'll be able to setup internal information regarding the listing. As for fields of interaction with the wesbsite, see the following:
Show in Frontend: the "Enabled" check-box is for determining if your listing will or will not be shown on the website. Apart from other types of accommodation, the product's visibility is not only based on its status (Active) but also on this box. The standard procedure when sealing a Long Term Rental is to uncheck the "Active" option and to put the guest's name in the "Client" field (he needs to be registered in the system).
Rental Amount: this information will be highlighted on the website showing the monthly rental amount the guest would pay.
Contract Duration (Months): determines the default duration of the accommodation's Long Term Rental contract. This information will be highlighted below the rental amount on the website.
Rental Guarantee: this information will be present in the subject's details and serves to show the guest what is required from him in order to assure the listing's rental (guarantor, x months deposit). This is a free text field, whatever you put here will be shown on the website.
Is it possible to have a listing that is both "Vacation Rental" and "Long Term Rental" at the same time?
Yes. Just go to the tab <<Product > Descriptive Content>> inside the listing and in the "Category" option also mark the "Vacation Rental" option. It's highly recommended to check if all the fields have been filled in order to avoid incomplete listings on your website.
What happens to my listing if I don't input a Rental Amount value?
The listing will be on the website, however next to the rental value there will be a message informing the buyer that the value is under consulting. You can change this message along with our Support Team.
I managed to rent the listing. How do I hide it from my website?
You should access the listing and, in the tab <<Long Term Rental>> in "Additional Information", unchek the "Enabled" box under "Show in Frontend". Don't forget to save your changes!
I do not work with this market segment. Can I remove this feature from my system?
Yes. Deactivation is made in the system's General Settings; our Support Team can help you with this. Just ask us!
