When you register a Promotion on your Stays.net calendar, your information will be sent to Booking.com with the indication that it is a promocional action of the Basic Deal type, directed to users that have an account on the channel and who subscribe to the Booking's newsletter.

Booking.com promotions have a more specific behavior in relation to the consultations made via their portal, where the discount will be applied only if the searched period fits into the promotional period.

Check the practicle example below (promotion registered for period from may 24th to 27th):

Based on it, check the possible situations:

Situation
Result
Consultation for the period from may 24th to may 27th.The 10% discount will be applied, because the search is exactly the promotional period registered on the channel.
Consultation for the period from may 26th to may 29th. The discount will not be applied in any of the daily rates, because the search is not the registered promotional period.
Consultation for the period from may 25th to may 27th. The 10% discount will be applied, because the searched nights are part of the same promotional action.

In short, unlike the other channels, Booking.com does not apply promotional actions if a search takes place in a period where part of the period is on promotion and the other part is not, and also in cases where part of the period is tied to a promotional action and the other part is tied to another promotional action of the same level.
