The market's sales channels, also known as sales channels, are the simplest entry points to the vacation rental market and usually represent the main source of reservations at the beginning of the activity.
However, for this result, commissions are usually charged for each reservation and, therefore, it may be necessary to charge a price higher than the usual to dilute costs.
When using Stays.net, from the Pro plan you have the website and putting high prices may negatively affect the conversion rate of reservations, so an alternative is to register the standard price on Stays and apply the price correction by OTA, so that you can send the daily rates according to the commissioning policy of each platform.
To apply daily adjustments per sales channel, you can follow the steps below:
- Access the [Channel Managers] menu and choose the desired channel;
- Access the [Settings] tab;
- Find the [Price Correction] option and enter the desired percentage;
- Save your changes on the top of the settings section.
The image below shows an example on Airbnb channel:
The field for entering the percentage is free to enter negative amounts and also percentages with decimals, but you must enter "." and not a comma.
In addition, it is important to mention that you can choose if the percentage will be applied only to the daily rate or if it will include taxes. Therefore, to get the value you expect in the channel reservations it is important that you make simulations to get the ideal percentage.
To help you with this routine, create a copy of the spreadsheet that we provide at the link below:
After configuring the corrections by sales channel, it is possible to check the daily rates sent per channel from the [Calendar List Screen] menu.
