How to set up SEO?

To optimize SEO, you’ll need the following information:

  • Page Title (Static Page Title): this is the name that appears in search results.
    • Write something compelling and straightforward, up to 60 characters.
  • Description: this is the text that appears right below the title.
    • Use up to 270 characters to explain what visitors will find.
    • Keep the text clear, direct, and focused on the main idea.
  • Keywords: these are terms used by search engines to identify your page’s topic.
    • Choose up to 8 words separated by commas.
    • Use terms related to your business (e.g., Stays, software, PMS, short-term rental, channel manager).
  • Friendly URL: this is the final part of your page’s address, shown in the browser and search results.
    • Use simple words related to the page content.
    • Avoid accents, articles, and prepositions like "of," "to", and "with."
    • Separate words with hyphens, no spaces.
    • Example: /oceanfront-apartment-rio-de-janeiro.

Tip: SEO changes can take a few days to appear in search tools. Results typically show up in the mid-term as your page’s traffic and relevance increase.

How to use geolocation and Google Analytics in Stays?

Geolocation identifies where visits to your site come from (by city, region, or country) and lets you tailor content and ads for specific audiences.

For example: if your accommodations are in the Região dos Lagos (RJ), you can adjust keywords and descriptions to appear more often in searches by people from that region.

To make this strategy even more effective, use Google Analytics. This free tool shows how visitors interact with your site and helps you understand:

  • which cities and countries your traffic comes from;
  • which pages perform best;
  • how to optimize campaigns by location.

How to set up the integration in Stays?

  1. Access the [App Center] menu.
  2. Go to [Statistics and Data > Google Analytics].
  3. Click on [Active].
  4. In the [Google Analytics Tracking ID] field, enter your code.
  5. Save your changes.
