On your Stays.net, guests can be registered from the website, during the online reservation process or from the manual creation of reservations by your team.
It is possible to configure which are the mandatory fields for the registration of the guests for the two possibilities from the paths below:
Required fields for the website reservation process
To set what information will be required for the registration of a new guest on the website, just follow the steps below:
- Access the [Settings > Guest Settings > Registration] menu;
- Find the [What are the Required Fields for Guest Registration?] section;
- In the [Regarding registration on the website] field, choose the fields you want to make mandatory;
- Save the changes made at the top right side of the page.
The fields on documents and address will be mandatory only after the user makes the reservation on your page. This will not be applied in the initial data capture window!
The adjustments made in this area will be applied in the website's users registration routine.
Required fields for manually created reservations
During the creation of a reservation through the Stays.net panel, if the guest does not have a record in your database, it will be necessary to fill out a form with their information during the process.
To set which will be the mandatory fields in this step, follow the steps below:
- Access the [Settings > Guests > Registration] menu;
- Find the [What are the Required Fields for Guest Registration?] section;
- In the [In relation to registration through your reservation menu] field, choose the fields you want to make mandatory;
- Save the changes made at the top right side of the page.
It is important to mention that, in addition to this configuration, it is possible to configure which fields in relation to the guest address will also be mandatory.
