By connecting your sales channels listings to a channel manager, in most cases, the communication about reservationconfirmation is then managed by the channel, that is, Stays.

To avoid loss of reservations, Stays.net by default has the automatic triggering of reservation confirmation to guests.

If you have a policy of writing personalized messages or if you do not feel safe in applying the automation at the beginning of use in Stays, it is possible to disable automatic sending to the Booking and Expedia channels.

You can disable the triggering from the steps below:

  1. Access the [Channel Managers] menu and choose your channel;
  2. Click on the [Settings] tab;
  3. Find the [Communication with Guests] section;
  4. Select [No] in the [Would you like to send a reservation confirmation email right after the guest pays for the reservation on your website?] option;
  5. Save the changes made in the [Save] button that will appear next to the section title after the change.

For more details on the default content that Stays.net has, click on the link at the end of the article.
If you have the Pro, Administrator or Agency version, it is possible to change the content or even create custom emails per sales channel.
