Card tokenization is a feature whereby you securely capture a consumer's card data and keep it in your database, with encryption, to give the guest the option to use the card for future purchases with just one click.
It is a widely used feature in e-commerce to streamline the purchase process without compromising the security of the client data.

Below is an example of encrypted card data in the Stays.net user panel:

On your Stays.net, the tokenization is compatible with the Cielo and Pagar.me platforms and the tokenization behavior is different, based on transaction model:

Transactions Made by the Guest through the Website
Typed Sales
Cards Generated through sales channels
After validation of the card data by the payment platform, the card data will be encrypted and kept in your base, like the image above. When using typed sales in the Stays.net reservation page, the card will be automatically tokenized, regardless of whether the card is valid or not.Upon receiving the guest card data shared with the sales channel, the tokenization will be automatic, as the reserved listing is the one that must process the transaction.
In this case, you will only be able to activate the feature for a compatible channel!
This also happens when you choose not to charge the amount on the website and focus only on capturing guest card data. For invalid cards, you will need to manually remove them in the guest panel of Stays.net, in the [Payments] section. For invalid cards, you will need to manually remove them in the guest panel of Stays.net, in the [Payments] section.
